Jude Bilafer, City of Palmer’s Director of Public Works, joins host Mike Chmielewski on Inside The City to discuss the ongoing plans of the Public Works Department, including an update on the new library construction and some of the road projects completed in Palmer.
Palmer’s new library
Palmer’s Department of Public Works is comprised of seven divisions with 19 full-time employees tasked with maintaining City owned infrastructure. The seven divisions include:
- Administration Division
- Streets Division
- Fleet Maintenance Division
- Water / Wastewater Division
- Solid Waste Division
- Facilities Maintenance Division
- Parks Maintenance Division
