Fred Becker was presented this year’s Bert Hall Award at the Foundation’s annual membership meeting on June 8, 2026. In his acceptance speech, he honored the MatSu Food Bank team and board of directors, sharing that dignity and respect continue to guide their work in the Mat-Su. The MatSu Food Bank works to eliminate hunger and build lasting food security by providing reliable, barrier-free access to nutritious food and essential resources.
