Mike Chmielewski welcomed Penney Champney to Big Cabbage Radio to talk about the 4th Annual Veterans Fair.
The Fourth Annual Veterans Resource Fair is Saturday, December 6th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Menard Center in Wasilla. Penney proposed a Veterans Fair after seeing strong support for veterans in the Valley. Still, many veterans had no idea what help was available to them. She partnered with Mat-Su Health Foundation and other local and national organizations. There will be 50+ organizations attending the fair, grouped into three categories: Community Resources, Information and Counseling, and Health and Wellness.
