Nelson Crone gives the monthly update on the UAF Farm and Extension Center with host Mike Chmieleski. The farm will start harvesting the different grain trials with the new combine. All the staff have been trained on the new combine, which represents a 40-year technological jump. It is the time of year when moose are coming out of the woods, and the lives of two cabbages have been lost. A moose fence is being planned.
