Ohh what a weekend is coming up. There’s something for everyone.
Aladdin, Jr. finishes its run at the Glenn Massay Theater with shows on Friday and Saturday nights and a Saturday matinee. Get your tickets at glennmassay.com.
If you’re into music head over to the Palmer Depot on Friday or Saturday night for WinterROMP 2026. Friday musicians include Ed Washington, Childish Tycoon, and Hope Social Club.
Saturday features Rosie Rush followed by Steady Going, then JMoCo. It finishes with Blackwater Railroad. Doors open at 6 p.m. each evening. The show starts at 7 p.m. Friday tickets are $30. Saturday tickets are $35. A two-day pass is $50. This is a 21 and older event.
The Alaska Farm and Garden Show fills Raven Hall and more on the State Fairgrounds 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Come on out for vendors, gardening, vegetables, poultry, greenhouses, solar energy, homesteading, food preservation, landscaping, seminars, and more. All this for $10 per person and free parking. And… children under 12 are free.
Yuki Fest celebrates anime, gaming, comics, and Japanese pop culture. It runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Palmer High School. Entry fee is $10. Kids 5 and under are free.
The first annual community sauna fest starts at noon on Sunday at Meier Lake Resort. Bundle up and bring your friends and come to soak in the magic of winter. Relax and recharge in a variety of saunas. Take a cold plunge. Ice skate. Bring your towels, swimsuits, ice skates, warm layers, and any personal items.
Page 2 airs weekdays at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11:55 a.m., and about 6 p.m.
